November 5, 2007site’s on the new server now, but this isn’t the final layout by any stretch… i just hate the defaults and had to find something until i have time to put mine up.

November 2, 2007servers that is. i have to move everything over this weekend because my current hosting account isn’t being renewed (thanks again janet for letting me use the extra g-c space for the past year!)… in other words, don’t be surprised if you see this site with the dumb default WP layout for awhile. it’ll get changed, i just will need to find the 5 min here and there to do the work.

September 13, 2007off to traverse city for the weekend. and hopefully when i get back, i’ll get a chance to put up pictures from kenny chesney/brooks and dunn @ ford field, trace adkins @ the allegan county fair, and the 2007 edition of my training camp shots!
yeah, i haven’t posted in awhile
September 6, 2007so in 5 bullets or less, here’s a summary of my life lately. i promise it’s not exciting though.
- talk about a financial 180: in just over a month, i opened a new checking account at lake michigan credit union (5% APR!) and set up a roth IRA. the roth was something i’ve wanted to do for 6+ months, but never gotten around to. but it’s finally done. and once i’m sure my 5/3 checking account isn’t being accessed by anything else, it will cease to exist.
- after further investigation, taking classes at GRCC just won’t work out. they cancelled every section of the first photography class, leaving ONE 100 level class open - but only 1 section of it (which of COURSE was full). plus tuition got jacked up a TON. so yeah, not happening.
- however, i found out that NAPP has a one-day photography photoshop class in livonia at the end of the month - so i’m going there on the 28th, i believe. and i’m going to probably take the photography class through community ed. yeah, it’ll start off really slow, but what the heck, right?
- red wings training camp in traverse city next weekend! so i’ll be gone thurs PM - sat, and then on the 19th they’ll be in GR for a practice at van andel arena. yay!
- a few new photos are posted. one of kurt busch in the nascar drivers album, a few in miscellaneous… and i need to get some from kenny chesney posted in the concert album eventually. maybe within the next 2 weeks.
i guess that’s it! new layout coming… by the end of the year? i have one done, i just haven’t gotten around to updating wordpress so i can install it yet.
back to school?
July 7, 2007yep, it very well may happen - i have an email into g.r. community college’s registrar. if enough of my davenport credits transfer to where i’d just have major-related stuff to do (which may be only 6 classes or so), i may start working toward a 2nd degree. and i’m thinking photography… what a shock, huh? lol
one class a semester would be do-able, since i still don’t have the money to afford to move out (but that’s a whole ‘nother, slightly bitter story…LOL)
