one totaled car
March 10, 2007not mine… my parents.
my mom and i were in a car wreck like an hour and a half ago. for those of you who know the area (wyoming/gville) it was near kenowa and jacob, on the 196 overpass.
we’re alive and for the most part, OK. the car is not.
however, i may spend my afternoon in the ER. i don’t know yet. we turned down a ride in the ambulance, but x-rays may be in order …
and my neighbor was out running and saw us, so she ran home, got her parents and got her camera so i should be able to post a few pics once shaylee gives me a copy.
edit 7:30pm: one ER visit and 5 x-rays later… and i’ve been medically cleared, minus a sprained left shoulder and chest wall contusions (bruises). the more i think about it, if this would have been head-on we’d have been lucky to survive it. seriously. we were going probably 42 mph and the witness thought she could have been speeding. here are the pics, if you like that sort of thing. and shocker, i’m even in one, kinda

Egads! That’s one nasty entire car side! Thank God you and Mom are okay. And I think you are right, a head-on would have put you guys in a VERY dangerous position. Oh goodness, I just got chills. I’m really glad you guys are alright for the most part.
And the car, ugh. and it’s still brand new looking too. That just sucks.
