the socks… finally
May 21, 2006here are my finished socks. next time i make a pair, i may adjust the pattern a little… i wanted to make it as easy as possible for the first ones!
and here’s another semi-artsy project of mine. (it’s leaning against the wall so it looks a little distorted, but it’s the only way i could get a pic to turn out halfway decently.) it’s going to eventually be hung on the wall… and all it is is dominoes!

Random comment: the baseboard in the domino picture have the same grille pattern as the ones in my condo.

they’re definitely comfy probably due to the fact that i bought the softest yarn i could find for them. i haven’t worn them really yet though - when i made them, i was thinking they’d be more of a “wear around the house in the winter” thing. the yarn’s kinda thick, so they’d probably be too warm right now.
