just when everything was going halfway well…

i had to go into urgent care this morning for my leg, and i’ve been “banned” from the gym until it clears up.

this morning, out of concern, i went to urgent care for a lump on my upper leg that over the past few weeks, has inflated from dime-sized to 1.5-2″ in diameter! (and as of last night, it’s started to hurt regularly.) turns out it’s a now-infected cyst, and if antibiotics and constant hot compresses don’t clear it up, i’m looking at a chaotic week (if they have to drain it, i have to go to the doctor daily to get it checked/re-covered - yeah, like i have time for that!)

so for now, i’m walking like a friggin wannabe cowboy (you know, those people who don’t ride on a regular basis that walk like they’re on a horse after they get off)… even standing up can be a (painful) chore… and since it’s my right leg, i may not have the easiest time driving in the near future. never mind the fact that i supposedly have a concert to go to next weekend… (but that’s another story, i really no longer want to go after someone’s unintentionally pissed me off about it)

am i destined to have everything blow up in my face again this year? :bang:
