he’s swam across the other 4 great lakes already… and also swam the length of lake michigan. all for charity - big brothers big sisters. pretty cool, huh? (he’s from byron center, which is about 20 minutes from my house, so it’s all over the news here.)

edit 8/4: yay, he made it! now if only the person who wrote the “he’s done” update had passed something higher than 7th grade english, i’d be able to understand more than 40% of the entry…

not much going on really. i went to the “taste of grand rapids” 2 weekends ago for the bobby pinson concert, which was really good and i got a bunch of good pics from the 4th row (unlike the shooter jennings concert i had the free tickets to… i was so annoyed that i left maybe half an hour into his set.) then last thursday, i went to the tim mcgraw concert at the ionia free fair. the concert was pretty good - but the city of ionia and the venue, what a freaking joke. i don’t plan on going back there anytime soon…

oh, and to post one more minor detail that i know about the post below, she’s out of the hospital and at home - in the body cast. her parents can basically only move her using a wheelchair somehow… but at least she and her mom are home.
