this cracks me up
June 6, 2005there was article from yahoo about a teenage sleep study i just saw.
i’m sorry, but i have very little sympathy for the situation. during water polo season, i’d have practice from 5:30-6:30am, go to school till 3pm, and then usually had 2 hours of practice afterward. then dinner, homework, and bed. my grades stayed plenty high and i didn’t walk around like a zombie because i had to be up “so early” and didn’t get enough sleep.
the situation’s relatively easy to correct - people need to get their priorities figured out and get to sleep at a decent hour. if teenagers are staying up till god-knows-when talking on the phone, watching tv, chatting online or procrastinating on homework till late, unless there is a verifiable medical reason, it is their own fault for being tired the next morning. and i didn’t need to do a big ol’ study to figure THAT one out.

i agree with you kel, seriously kids need to stop watching so much tv, spend some time on homework and then go to bed, or something…they really don’t need to be up so late. but idk….kids are weird
