phew
May 24, 2005finally. work should be slowing down a little… i hope.
it’s strange, i haven’t taken one day of vacation so far this year. if all would have worked out, i’d be flying to LA to go to the american idol finale tomorrow, but airfare was too steep with only 2 weeks advance notice (plus the credit card bill for my camera’s coming soon) . so that’s not happening after all…. because i’m being “financially responsible”.
hmm… nothing exciting planned for memorial day weekend. as usual, the weather looks like it’s going to be lousy… 
the forecast right now is low 60’s and rain sat/sun, and maybe mid 60’s on monday. how lovely. (how about some heat? please?) i’m trying to hold out some hope that i’ll get a chance to wax my car at least (because it NEEDS to be done), but who knows?
at least i finally have something to look forward to, for next week… the bill engvall show i have tickets to is next thursday. 
and then the fun really starts - 2 races (one at berlin, one at MIS) to go to the week of june 13th, the tim mcgraw concert in july and maybe a race in berlin as well, a third race at berlin in august… and then in october, back down to SC again. which means i’ll finally get some vacation time. lol
oh, and new cam pic soon. if the webcam cooperates. i haven’t forgotten, i swear… i was trying to get one last night (cause i had a hair appt. last night and it’s quite different than the pic that’s been up FOREVER) but everything looked really red-tinted no matter how i adjusted the settings, so i gave up.

he’s going to be at the ionia free fair on july 28… and yeah, it’s back to the timeshare condo (this is the third year i’ve gone) in october.
