i’m either really busy or i’m not…

well, it’s been an interesting week or so…

last saturday (the 22nd) we got dumped on by a little over a foot of snow, which turned out to be a good thing. see, george strait/dierks bentley tickets were going on sale at 10am - and because of the snow, it appears that people went on ticketmaster’s site instead of going to a ticketmaster outlet. so i got to one by 9:30 and ended up being first in line - and wound up with 8th row seats. not bad.

my hair appt. on monday proved that my hair grows like a weed… lol. i got highlights done about 7 weeks ago, and i could easily have had them done again already. (note: no, it didn’t happen, i’m not rich enough for that! lol) it’s different letting my hair grow out this much, especially since it hasn’t been this long in a few years!

friday i ended up going to the auto show here in GR (which kasey was doing a signing at). while i was there, i got a few pretty good pics of the ice jam that’s happening on the grand river right now.

saturday i went to the other mall here and had to return my cords to jcrew (*sniff* - i’ve been looking for a pair of tan cords forever… i saw a pair a few years ago there but i couldn’t really afford them, esp. since i was still in school. well i saw some on clearance a few weeks ago and i ordered them… but they were too big. turns out i’d need 2 sizes smaller than i thought… their sizing must be odd because that’s not right… lol. and of course, they’re out of stock now so i’m back to having nothing.)

yesterday, i spent most of the day reformatting the desktop (trust me, it needed it). thank goodness last time i reformatted, i had saved installers for most programs i use on my other HD… so i didn’t need to hunt them all down again. but it still was a pain installing a few programs, rebooting, installing more, another reboot, etc. at this point, it’s probably 90% back to normal though.

anyway. not much planned this week, except maybe for friday and saturday. if i get an email back within the next day or so, i’ll probably try to take friday afternoon off to drive to ann arbor, to go to a u of m/ucla gymnastics meet with jess… mel might come too if she’s not working.

edit 2/1: to make a long story short, i decided not to go to the meet this friday after all. it just didn’t seem worth it anymore, with everything that’s happened in the last few days. (no, it’s not anything earth-shatteringly bad, just unnecessary stress and uncertainty has finally gotten to me.)

i need a vacation, or heck, a new life even.
