and a happy new year to you all…

since i hadn’t posted that yet.

things are on one hand busy, but on the other not too much at all. but somehow, this week has left me just downright exhausted. please tell me i’m not getting sick…

out of frustration, i’ve basically sworn myself off contact with people i know online for right now. i guess i’d reached my breaking point about some things - i was most likely going to let someone have it if i didn’t get away from my computer, so i did. i just don’t know what to think anymore… people tell me one thing, but then their behavior other places and even later on toward me seems to contradict what i was told in the first place. am i supposed to believe it’s all true? i really don’t think so!

and while i’m ranting, another thing that’s been driving me crazy lately is unsolicited suggestions. if i wanted your opinion, i’d ask. really. and even if i didn’t… suggestions are one thing, but suggestions about something that applies to 1% (if that) of the people/things affected… just shut up and live with it. please.

anyway. enough negativity.

new layout in the works… it’s probably half done at this point. my goal is to get it done and up by next weekend, but we’ll see how that goes. maybe sooner if all cooperates… i think it’s coming together pretty well… and that it’s much better than this one!

i think i need to start doing the friday fives that are posted on lj. i’m back into my old habit of never updating this thing… (i’d start them today, but the questions weren’t anything i could answer without massive thought). and speaking of LJ… what’s up with sixapart (the movable type people) buying it? they claim nothing’s going to change… i’ll only believe that when i see it.

ok, there’s more i want to write but i have some work to get done yet today… so i guess i’ll either edit this later or write another one.
