mission accomplished

December 18, 2004

after about 10 minutes of semi-frantic pushing “reload” and thanks to a b93 presale, i snagged some pretty darn good tim mcgraw tickets yesterday morning. (unfortunately the concert’s not till july though.) now i just have to wait until the george strait/dierks bentley ones go on sale… thank goodness GR’s finally getting some decent concerts!

in some ways i’ve been on the busy side lately… work last week was absolute insanity for a few reasons, but i survived - and this week should be much much slower due to the holiday. which means i may end up being quite bored and HOPEFULLY (uh huh, right) will try to get a new layout figured out for this thing. i can’t stand this one anymore (truth be told, i’ve never been 100% “into” this one. but i put it up for something different)

speaking of my site, i did a few very minor tweaks to my blog in the last few weeks, and updated my mp3 list and cam pic tonight. (i always intend to update that thing, but for some reason, it just usually doesn’t happen.) my hair is nowhear near as overall blond-y as it looks… that’s due to my ceiling lights. and i want to get a better webcam, but as often as i use it, i think i’m going to save up for (and wait for the price to come down on) a new digital camera instead. i SHOULD(!!!!) have my car paid off by the end of the month, so i can start saving as much as possible to move, yet have a little cash for fun things.

anyway. nothing too exciting really this week, but having friday off will be nice. and then the next tuesday (the 28th - if i remember right), we’re having a 60th anniversary dinner for my grandparents. that should be nice because all my cousins will be there (one of them lives in new jersey now with his wife and kids, and i haven’t seen them for 4-5 years probably).

ok, that’s the only news i have for now. and jenny, nina, sari, heather and zack, thanks for the christmas cards

  3. MERRY CHRISTMAS LIL’ LADY!!! I sure do miss chatting with ya. Greg came by yesterday. First time I had seen him in five months. It is cold down here. Some of your type weather. Into the mid teens tonight. For southerners, that’s a death sentence. They are predicting snow for tomorrow. HOW DO YOU DRIVE IN SNOW???????? The temp change is killing us. Yesterday in was 72. Today’s high is going to be 33. Poor Chris had three wisdom teeth yanked Monday. Having to eat blender stuff. He’s not very found of blender pizza. I’m almost finished updating “ALL” the tracks of NASCAR thru 2004. If you want me to forward them, just let me know. Speaking of Tim McGraw, he’s fantastic in concert. He was here two years ago and I took Jennifer. So is Randy Travis and John Michael Montgomery. Go see them if you can. Hey, do you like Kenny Rogers? I just bought his best CD and will be glad to burn a copy & forward it to you. Throw me a email. Need to go for now. If you can, drop in and chat for a few minutes before Christmas. Have a Merry one and God Bless, Dave
