ok, maybe not

well, my vacation request for the 30th was approved and my parents have basically given in - so i guess any potential new year’s plans aren’t necessarily written off after all! now i just have to see about getting flights, a hotel, a rental car booked… *stops herself to avoid another headache…* (edit 12/2) false hope, not likely anymore. dang it all.

speaking of headaches, it’s pretty pathetic. the randomly lousy feeling is back, and everything “fun” just doesn’t seem to hold my interest as much as usual. my parents want me to go to the doc, but that would require time! and besides, i can feel terrible - no energy, bad headache, queasy, stomach bugging me, etc - but if i can function normally at work or whatever, i don’t consider myself “sick enough” to go.

anyway. lately, i’ve been thinking about going back to school. not for a second degree necessarily (although if a school in GR had some sort of “internet criminology” program, i’d be quite interested), but for a night class or two in something “fun”… a new programming language (yes, i know that sounds crazy), photoshop, flash or something. (i had to proofread parts of my brother’s research paper for his culinary class a few times last night - that killed any chance of me going back and taking classes that would require that kind of work… lol)

and btw, snow is back. we currently have maybe 2″ (which will most likely melt soon, thank goodness), but even THAT’s too much for me!
