absolutely swamped

well for once, i have so much going on that i literally didn’t have time to consider updating this thing.. well, until now, and i won’t have time for a big post either.

work-wise, to say i’ve been slightly swamped isn’t an overstatement in the slightest. one of my supervisors has been on vacation for almost 2 weeks now (he’ll be back from ireland this week, if i remember correctly) - while he’s been gone, my other supervisor and i have basically been doing things that he’d do, plus our normal workloads. i REALLY don’t mind having things to do, i’d just rather not do 5 min on one project, half an hour on something else, go back to the first one for a few more, have something else come up, etc. which has been the case. i basically get home from work and avoid my computer at all costs lately… it’s like i’m just really tired or burnt out (about the internet) or something. *shrug*

vacation-wise (*phew*) i have a few things scheduled i guess you could say, most significantly a trip (back) to SC for (another) 10 days in october. which i’m looking forward to, of course.

other than all that… not a lot’s going on. i’m definitely looking forward to having the olympics to watch, to the johnny benson/bobby labonte race at berlin in about a week and a half, SC and everything involved with that. having my supervisor back from vacation so i’m not doing a million and one things at once would be decent, too… lol
