not 100%, but close

May 27, 2004

well, i almost have this thing configured right. i must say, the fact that wordpress doesn’t require rebuilds after every little template edit like MT does is quite a significant improvement, especially with all the entries i have archived. :smile:

anyway, the left-right scroll garbage is currently driving me insane, but it will have to be fixed later… possibly when i get back from a doc appt. (no, i’m still not feeling 100% better, and it’s now been 9 days. but i’m going to nyc anyway, it’s now to a “halfway tolerable” stage where i can deal with it much better than before.)

  2. Hey cool! You moved onto WordPress! How did you get the smilies to show up? And how did you make your comments box pop-up? I’m still learning :)

  4. Jenny, take a look at this WP Grins plugin zip… has everything you need :smile:

    and for pop up comments, there’s a line you just need to uncomment… it’s around line 25 of the index file, and it includes the following:
    //comments_popup_script(); // off by default
    you just need to get rid of the pair of slashes before the “comments_popup_script()” part.
