update

… and another week has come and gone.

in terms of weather, the last few weeks have been quite interesting to say the least. we’ve had tornado watches - and even a few warnings (but not for the county i live in), thunderstorms, flood warnings, downpours, and even a drainage “geyser” as a result of getting too much rain at once. plus, for the first time in 9 years or so, the (grand) river’s nice and contaminated from the water treatment plant.

other than that, to put it nicely, i’ve been feeling quite lousy. for those who don’t know what’s going on… i guess it’s a lactose-related attack. i ate something made with milk last tuesday with dinner, but apparently one pill (just over-the-counter lactose things) didn’t work… so i’ve been in anything ranging from mild to severe pain pretty constantly, and getting sick up to 10 times a day since then. i am just so sick of not being able to eat!

and to end this on a more cheerful note, i’m still planning on flying out saturday morning to spend a long weekend in NYC. (if i have to eat freaking saltines for every “meal” and drink only gatorade until then so i’m not sick, i will! lol)

and unrelated… THIS is absolute crap.
