how on earth…
March 24, 2004i swear, i hate my (home desktop) computer sometimes.
randomly on saturday, norton popped up and said i had a virus. well 10 different scans from 3 different antivirus programs later, i’m still getting it. grisoft’s antivirus says it removes it every time… um, right. norton, on the other hand, confuses me. it gives me the virus alert popup, but when i scan my system (including hidden files & everything), it says my system’s clean and when i try to follow their repair instructions, nothing on there matches anything on my system. so i’m really confused to whether i have this virus or not.
ideas anyone? i’m about ready to reformat… again.
