friday five

the friday five

1. What’s the most daring thing you’ve ever done? flown a few times to meet people i only knew over the internet by myself… lol

2. What one thing would you like to try that your mother/friend/significant other would never approve of? pretty much everything i’d be willing to do, they wouldn’t mind… probably because i wouldn’t do anything too crazy.

3. On a scale of 1-10, what’s your risk factor? (1=never take risks, 10=it’s a lifestyle) probably 4 or 5… i’m pretty tame, but not completely!

4. What’s the best thing that’s ever happened to you as a result of being bold/risky? i’ve gotten to meet some great people, probably… and i’ve realized that i’m not quite as wimpy as i thought! lol

5. … and what’s the worst? nothing really earth-shatteringly bad has happened, but one time rock climbing (indoors), i lost my grip and instead of having my belayer catch me, she dropped me 15 feet or so “because she didn’t know i was going to fall”. um, yeah….

  3. right now, the list (of people i’ve actually FLOWN somewhere to meet) isn’t too big. (i’ve met a lot more but drove there)

laura, lou (and her family - she was a supervisor of mine when i was working for trackers) & henry.

but i’ll be able to add more after am cup, that’s for sure… lol

plus i hopefully will be driving a little past chicago to meet jamie-lynn & jenny in march, and then flying to charlotte to meet jared memorial day weekend!

  4. Ooh, I feel so cool being part of the elite who can view the blog. I finally got around to linking you. Shame on me for taking so long.

As for meeting people online, I never have. I’m personally kind of wimpy about it ’cause I think, ‘Okay, what if they don’t like me in person?’
