i’m convinced that the side streets in my neighborhood are the last to get plowed in ottawa county. it took a good 5 minutes to go the probably 1/10th of a mile to a “main road” to get to work this morning.

we got probably 9 inches yesterday, and as a result, were allowed to leave work an hour early (otherwise i leave around 5:30, and sunset is 5:48 or so here right now). i was definitely grateful for that!
it was quite funny driving home (and here this morning) though, and seeing that the only cars in the ditch were SUV’s. um, news flash guys: when the weather sucks and there’s black ice, you just can’t go as fast as usual… *rolling eyes* lol
if it’s not too dark by the time i get home tonight, i’ll have to take the 4th annual “too much snow!!!” picture to post on here. we have at least 2 feet, maybe more. it’s ridiculous, and i think if we’re lucky, it’ll melt by may. grrrrr.
pilates is going well. i can do barely any of it, due to being as flexible as a 2×4″, but i’m going to keep at it. 
oh, and random sidenoted rant of the year. this is how you quickly tick kelley off when it comes to taxes. i got 3 w2’s this year. one didn’t take enough state taxes out, so i got screwed. and one didn’t take enough federal taxes out, so i got screwed there too. woo-freakin-hoo.

AMEN! That’s exactly what I’m always screaming at the morons around here that think they can still go 80 MPH when there’s THREE INCHES OF ICE and snow on top of the ice on all of the roads. *ROLLS EYES* Some people . . .
