update.. kinda

i wish i had some great update or news to post, but i really don’t. (and yes, if you have access and noticed, i posted this at my LJ as well, but the LJ version is quite a bit more detailed)

work has been going pretty well. i got my first paycheck wednesday before the holiday (the office was closed thurs/fri), so i was a bit suprised that a) i got it that soon with 2 weeks on it and b) it was a little more than i thought it would. it covered the insurance/car payment check i had to write my mom the week before, so at least i’m not worse off than i was… i just need to save EVERYTHING from here on out so i can get that car paid off ASAP!!!

other than that… really not much is going on. i’m still trying to get used to the schedule - i think having 4 days off killed my sleep schedule, to some extent. plus 2 weekends ago (the 22nd), i went to chicago to go shopping, and then this past weekend i went to ann arbor for a wedding. i’ll be thrilled to get a weekend where i’m not in the car for 5+ hours of it! (i only have an oil change scheduled so far for saturday.. lol)

oh, and please feel free to hold me to working out 3x a week. now that i have nights “free” to some extent, my goal is to start with 20 minutes, 3 days a week of cardio - and go from there.

and a random fact of the day - my latest “free time” activity at work: reading the charlotte observer’s online edition. i think this means i want to move… lol
