and it’s… *drumroll* the big post

ok, i think i finally have 3 seconds to breathe. i swear, i’ve been busy with a lot of things and just don’t find the time to write… or don’t have anything worth writing at the time… etc. but i’m going to try to change that here.

you may, or may not know that i’m no longer at netpenny. if you didn’t know, i’ll fill you in quick. if you know, you can pretty much skip the next paragraph.

before i went to SC, one of my friends e-mailed me a classified that one of his friends had sent him. it was for website-related positions at a company here in GR. i thought it looked interesting, so i sent my resume off for the heck of it. i honestly didn’t expect anything, since i don’t exactly have piles and piles of experience - and most jobs like that do because of the job market. so anyway, i got an e-mail back the next day, a half hour before we were supposed to leave. to make a long story short, 2 interviews after vacation later, i got a job offer and put my 2 weeks in at netpenny - my last day was wednesday, and i start at structure:interactive tomorrow morning. i’m back to a ‘day job’, it’s full time, and i’ll be doing web development. it’s a great opportunity.

anyway… other than that, i’ve been semi-planning 2 long weekend trips that i want to take. one will be to NYC at the end of february, to see the American Cup. the other will be memorial day weekend, to go back to lowe’s motor speedway to see the coca-cola 600.

my site is pretty well done. there are a few things i want to re-do, or fix, or take care of, but with the whole job situation being so stressful lately, the site will have to wait. (pretty much all i wanted to do was get a gallery up though, do a better button, and decide on hosting specs, so no earth-shatteringly big deal really)

well i should figure out what i’m going to wear tomorrow… re-do my nails… and take care of a few other things - so i should stop writing. but i wanted to catch everyone up with what’s going on…
