vacation report

there’s really nothing new to report right now. working as usual, working on adding to the knowledgebase that i finished for work, etc. oh, going to a griffins game friday night as well - looks like i’ll be cheering for cujo again. *sarcastic cheer*

anyway, we’ve been back from SC as of sunday, at 3:45am. driving 18 hours was NOT my idea of fun, but my dad was convinced he wasn’t tired enough to stop at a hotel, so we drove straight through! i think my body’s still trying to recover. grrrr

state comments:
ohio - LONG! lol. i think it took 5 hours to drive from the toledo area, where we entered the state, to chillicothe and SE to west virginia. and their roads are so far better than any road in MI….

west virginia - well, we drove through charleston, but other than that, this state is just a bit too rural for me! but driving through the mountains was quite the experience.

virginia - same comment about the mountains. we stayed in wytheville on the way down, decent place.

north carolina - i love this state in general. the race was awesome, mooresville was awesome, charlotte was awesome, concord was awesome - everything was awesome.

south carolina - i love this state’s weather. and it was strange, we were on an island but it didn’t feel like it - at all!

i may get a few pics uploaded to my new webspace, i’m not sure yet. but to get that webspace up and running, (i’m going to turn this into a portfolio-type site, and the new one as my blog/personal site) i need to come up with a second domain name - any ideas?
