random stuff

FYI, in case you noticed, there’s no friday five this week. it’s not that i’m not answering them, it’s that there’s no questions at all. and i almost need the friday five to get me to post SOMETHING once a week… grr. i’m such a ‘net slacker sometimes!

anyway… so what else is going on here?

*as usual, i’ve been working a semi-decent amount. when am i not? lol
*dell finally fixed my laptop (so my keyboard actually WORKS now - woohoo! lol). the tech was only 3 hours LATER than he was scheduled, and he got here after i had left for work (thank goodness my mom was home), but he fixed it in 5 minutes.
*my brother was in the ER tuesday night for kidney stones, so that was half the family excitement for the week. the other half was my cousin Kevin and his wife Erin having their first baby - congrats to them!!! *the longer i don’t have to go to school anymore, the more i miss it. it’s weird… i guess it’s just habit or something? anyway, i’m still looking at taking a few classes from the international webmaster association (flash, photoshop, etc.) when i get back from vacation.

speaking of vacation, i leave exactly two weeks from today!!!!! (my grandpa has a timeshare on hilton head island, SC that he’s giving us basically because he doesn’t think he can fly anymore.) it’s my first “real” vacation in over 5 years, so it will be nice to try to relax a bit.

oh, marina has a new layout up, and kalen reopened her site - so go visit them!

well, tomorrow’s my saturday to work this month and i haven’t been feeling all that great today, so i suppose i should stop writing…. i will try to post something more often, i swear - and i’m kinda considering doing a new layout, but i’m not totally sure yet… maybe i’ll get a good pic when i’m in SC to inspire me?
