June 8, 2003My mom and I were talking with one of our neighbors earlier today, and we came up with an interesting question. My “little sister” Mel’s high school grad was this weekend over in Taylor (MI), and she didn’t have any sort of senior overnighter. Yet over in west MI, many schools DO have something like this… So the question is: Do (high) school districts in your area typically have some sort of senior overnighter after graduation or a senior trip? Comment and let me (well, us) know. My mom especially will be interested to see the results!

nope, we had no overnight thing at my school. just a simple little prom/dance at the local golf course. i’m not sure about other schools, though.

We had a senior party that was full of “gambling” and stuff to win prizes (and a car). It wasnt overnight, but ran pretty late. (Traverse City, MI)

Every year they go to Grad Night for Graduation. Grad Night is at Disneyland, so it’s a ton of fun!

We don’t have anything like that here. We usually have senior skip days but even those are barely ever organized enough and our classes are usually two divided for anything like that.
