midterms

April 21, 2003

it’s as close to “midterm week” as you can get with a 10 week term structure. if you don’t see me around much this week, you know why. it’s not by choice. it’s by necessity.

but i’ll try to write a big post before i go to dallas a week from tomorrow very AM, and i’ll bring my palm (which is actually my grandpa’s old one - i’m using it for a few weeks to see if it’s worth springing for a palm tungsten t or something similar) to jot notes on, and write something decent when i get back as well.

and charlie, you’re top of my list to e-mail back when i get a minute - i swear! ;)

  2. tyler got a tungsten… i played with it… i like i like my ipaq better… there’s just something things about palm that im not 100% happy with. but for instance, having windows media player and microsoft ebook reader is nice.

ebook reader is nice because you can use word to export such things as your teachers notes for class :)into ebook form… so you can highlight as well as make a few notes

  3. the only thing with the gift certificates i have is that the pda i (probably will) get has to be stocked by amazon… and they don’t stock the ipaq like yours, i looked. so that kind of limits me a bit… but at the same time, i haven’t really used a specific type of pda before where it’s like i’m used to something, you know?

and plus, i won’t need to deal with teachers’ notes in a few months! ;)

  5. I prefer my palm :) I had both…the pocketpc always crashed on me. Also palm has this cool little piece of software called repligo (reader for anything), and real one music player :)
