spring 2 online
March 26, 2003i’ve come to an executive decision, approved by mom.
i’m dropping IDS485 (the gen-ed capstone) right now. i’m gonna take it spring 2 online - which starts one week after i get home from dallas. that way i won’t be screwed over due to the in-class participation (that i would miss) my prof seems to be pretty dependent on.
sounds perfect, right? not totally. well, i get to walk @ the graduation ceremony in june still, but i won’t be done with classes until july 3.
i just don’t want to put myself “in the hole” over something i don’t have a ton of control over. yes, i have control over going to dallas, but because i qualified for nationals and all that, i don’t want to just give up now. i guess i see this as the “best of both worlds”. i’d rather be in classes a month late and not blow my GPA off the bat (like i could potentially do) than try to rush to get it all done in time and lose points in class.
plus, i’ve had spring 2 online classes for the last 3 years as it is. so i’ll survive.

It won’t be so bad… I’ll be walking in June, but won’t be finished with classes until 8/15/2003.
