shopping!

March 13, 2003

i spent allll day (well, until about half an hour before i had to leave for class) shopping at the mall. being the bargain shopper that i am sometimes, i got quite a stash for about $120 or so - which would have been over $200 had it not been for sales and my all-store discount. i went shopping for stuff for dallas mostly, but got 4 new pairs of earrings, 2 hats from hat world, 2 purses from leather limited, 2 display cases for my 1/64’s, and a sweater from BR.

so yeah, i’m on spring break now. *cheer*

oh, by the way, i need opinions. i found this absolutely perfect shell (after going through literally every store in the mall i work @) to go with a skirt i already own…. so here’s my dilemma. MI BPA dress code explicitly states “no tank tops”. do you consider that a “tank top” or not? please comment and let me know what you think… i mean, my mom and i both have an opinion, but i don’t want to get docked 10% of my nationals score for dress code violation (which i would fight to no end if i DID get one). so yeah. please comment.

  2. well asking a few people what they classify as a tank top, the general consensus is anything with no sleeves, so I guess that would qualify as one.

Personally I don’t think I’d consider it one. Can’t be too careful though if we’re talking scores.

  3. i definately wouldn’t risk it because that’s on the line…i don’t really think it’s a tank top…but it’s so close adn could go either way…don’t risk it!

  4. that’s what i thought. it’s technically NOT one (at least, from our “definition” from gap/banana republic/old navy) but yeah… i returned it *sniff*.
