rambling
February 26, 2003hey look - it’s a semi-significant (well, i hope) post! and even more significantly, it’s (finally) my 100th since i had to reinstall greymatter back in august.
not much new is going on. homework as usual, class as usual, and working as usual (thank goodness - i will get my “pathetic” paycheck tomorrow *sniff* - i need 20 hours or so a week, not the 10 i had last week because of BPA). 2 of my classes end as of sunday, so i hopefully won’t be stuck working at the computer 24/7 like i have been (to some extent) this week. really, i like computers - i just don’t like feeling tethered to one!
i think i’m now karreena’s unofficial right-hand at work - rumor has it that she was even whining that i wasn’t working when a lot of the spring 2 things came in, because she didn’t have time to get it all arranged while she was supervising. i’m probably not SUPPOSED to be her assistant, but she’s usually front-end supervisor when i’m working at least part of the time, and lets me do accessories and stuff for the front register displays on both floors (that’s 5 large panel grids and 10 endcaps - yay!). and now the managers see me doing that stuff so much that they don’t care.
it’s pathetic that i’m so thrilled to be doing it (especially because it KILLS my knee) but it’s a break from the registers too. i’m getting a bit retail-burned out again. it’s been almost 3 years at ON already, so i’m not suprised that i’m getting to the point where i’m going to want to do something else (preferably related to my major somehow would be quite nice, too). i know that i could never tolerate being a “lifer” in retail. ugh.
so anyway. i guess there was no REAL earth-shattering point to this. but i wanted to write something a little more substantial than the 3 pathetic posts i did before this.
oh, and one of the very few people who has seen my new cam agrees that it’s a million times better than the old one. and despite the fact that the old cam is crappy, i’ve already had someone ask to have it since they don’t have one… lol.
ok, enough of a study break. back to my internet marketing final project! (i’m trying to get it DONE asap - i’m thinking it might even be done tomorrow!!!)

Sure, np. I know we just hired 2 techs, and boss said we might be looking for some more part-timers. We dont have enough need for more full-timers, but that will change. U can call me at work 888-248-7239 x 223 or email me or whatever.
