yay, a *real* post!

yes, i know i haven’t written in awhile. so here’s what’s going on.

well i finally started school this past monday, so that will take up a fair amount of time. i have a day class on mon/wed from 10-noon, and then two night classes tues & wed from 6-10pm. those SUCK, but i suppose i’ll be “rewarded” when winter term starts and i only have one on-campus class (the other 2 are online). oh, and this - term i have an online class that starts in a little under a month. so at least i’ll be able to get into the 3 classes a fair amount until that starts. and spring term is halfway tolerable from the looks of it as well, minus the fact that i have my capstone to do then. ugh.

work - yes, that’s still going on as well. i’m aiming for 15-20 hours a week over tuesday morning/early afternoon, and then thursday-saturdays. they scheduled me to close this saturday night, which i’m not too thrilled about (especially this new “required availability” garbage), but kristin’s stuck working till 10 too, so it will be halfway decent. i hope.

my parents are currently in the process of deciding whether or not to sell the van and get something like a toyota highlander. i’m allllllll for it. we don’t need the space of the van anymore.

oh, and i probably will be re-doing the layout of this site. i’ve never been truly happy with it, and i’m to the point where i need to do something and fast. i was considering closing the site for a bit while i did that, but i’ve since decided against that.

and jenison’s homecoming is next weekend. i need some advice: do i suck it up and sing the national anthem anyway, despite the fact that i can’t stand the director? i’m thinking i will, because i have the past few years, but still… that guy drives me up a wall. i WISH there was some way to tape it and get chad to put it up on jenisonchoirs.com or even on here. i’ll have to think about that one…….
